Cubic Glow

Building on the idea that toys are not just for children, this piece combines the playful nature of a cubic puzzle with the aesthetic illumination of a home accessory. With a tetris-like structure comprised of 64 separate sub-cubes, the functional challenge of solving it is no mere child’s play. Its potential for recombination leads to a joyfully unexpected variation in its resulting lighting leaving the ambiance of the room completely in the hands of the solver. Lacewood, ash, and frosted acrylic cubes; base lighting emanating from a hand-crafted stand.
